Featured APPOINTMENTS
First visit
When you visit Better Backs Chiropractic for the first time, you will be asked for some personal information. A Doctor of Chiropractic will then spend time taking thorough medical history, including questions about accidents, illnesses and family medical history. All your details will be handled with the strictest confidentiality.
On this visit you will be given a brief description of you condition and in most cases the treatment can also begin. You may also be given some home exercises. You will then have a full Report of Findings on your second visit. For availability and prices, please check the online booking page.

On your second visit the chiropractor will explain everything to you in more detail and you will be given a full Report of Findings, which is free for you to keep. In some cases dietary and lifestyle changes may be discussed and in most cases simple home exercises will be prescribed in order to maximise your healing potential. You will also be advised on how to best avoid future problems, aid your recovery and enjoy better health for life.
Your chiropractic treatment will continue on this visit and usually consists of spinal manipulation, soft tissue work, postural advice and exercises.

Chiropractic adjustment is the application of precise force in accurate direction on a specific joint that is out of alignment or not moving properly. Adjustments can help the bones to realign, joints, muscles, ligaments and nerves to regain their normal function and relieve pain and irritation. These chiropractic adjustments are the “backbone” of chiropractic care, but sometimes other techniques, such as soft tissue work and ultrasound therapy may also be incorporated into your treatment.
re-examination
re-exam
At some point of your treatment you will most likely have a re-examination. On this visit you will receive a treatment as usual, but we will also go over and re-check most of the tests that were done on your initial consultation visit. We do this in order to evaluate your progress and to make sure you are happy with the improvements in your condition. This is a 30-minute appointment and the cost is same as normal treatment visit.
returning patient
If you have been to Better Backs Chiropractic as a patient in the past, but it has been over twelve months since your last appointment, then this is what you need.
Returning patient appointment is very similar to a re-examination. We need to go over any changes in your health that may have occurred since your last visit. We also need to make some checks and tests, so this appointment will take around 30 minutes. The cost is the same as regular treatment visit.

If you have never been to a chiropractor before, and you’re not quite sure if it is right for you, then book a free mini consultation. This 15-minute appointment will give you a chance to meet the chiropractor and ask any questions you may have. You might also want to have your back checked to see if you would benefit from chiropractic care. If yours is not a chiropractic case, you will be referred to a more appropriate health care professional who might be able to help.
